Accommodation for rail workers
Rail work happens at night and at weekends, around possessions and closures. Digs have to cope with people sleeping in the day and arriving at odd hours.
What do rail workers need from accommodation?
Rail workers usually need properties where people can sleep by day, flexible check-in times, parking close to the depot or site. Tell us the location, dates and headcount and we will send options with a price per person, per night.
What matters
- Properties where people can sleep by day
- Flexible check-in times
- Parking close to the depot or site

Our tip
Tell us your shift pattern. It changes which properties are suitable, and which neighbourhoods are quiet at 2pm.

Questions
Good to know.
What does "pppn" mean?
Per person, per night. It is the simplest way to compare options: the price for one person to stay one night. Multiply it by the number of people and nights to see the whole cost. We quote pppn so you can budget before anyone books.
How do you price a stay?
You get a price per person, per night for each option, based on the property, the location, the length of stay and how many people you are sending. The price we quote is the price you pay for what we have described, and we confirm what is included before you commit.
What is usually included?
Furnishings, bills, wifi and kitchen basics are normally included, and many properties include linen and towels. Parking, cleaning and extras vary. Each option comes with a plain list of what is in and what is not.
Tell us where, when and how many.
